Background

Major changes to the Team Friends league structure were brought about in the 2021 season.

The Cory and Trevor divisions were abolished, the first season of the current keeper rules were instated.

DEF scoring received an overhaul, albeit a background change that did not effect final scores much. The change was implemented to see DEF scores rise over the course of a game instead of fall as opponents scored points

The NFL also added an 18th week, a change which rippled through Team Friends as an additional weekly hi score and pushed playoffs out to weeks 15-17.

Draft

2021 Online Draft Date: Sat September 04, 2021 09:30am

With the installment of newly minted keeper rules, the 2021 draft would be the final randomized draft order. Subsequent drafts would use inverse order of standings from the prior year.

While players were not eligible for keepers prior to the 2021 draft, the rules were outlined so that managers could plan accordingly.
