Background
The major change for the 2022 season was the implementation of draft-compensated keeper picks. Teams are allowed up to 1 keeper, so long as that player was draft in round 4 or later, and so long as that player was rostered since the trade deadline.
Team Friends Championship week took place during NFL week 17. The BUF-CIN matchup was cancelled in the aftermath of the Damar Hamlin cardiac arrest situation. The cancellation of the game left Bobby with 0 points from Ja'Marr Chase, ultimately losing the championship to Tony by less than 2 points. Elsewhere around fantasy football leagues, controversy and shit-housery ensued, lots of stories on social media about leagues falling out, commissioner collussion, etc. Thankfully, Team Friends remained level-headed and reasonable. Bobby accepted his fate, gracious in defeat. Tony resisted the urge to pile on 🤌

With the installment of newly minted keeper rules, the 2022 draft would be the final randomized draft order. Subsequent drafts would use inverse order of standings from the prior year.
While players were not eligible for keepers prior to the 2022 draft, the rules were outlined so that managers could plan accordingly.
